DataTalks is launching three new awards for data professionals. These awards have open nominations: nominate yourself or someone else for one of the three categories. We want to find, recognise and celebrate those data leaders among us who are an inspiration to our data community.
(these awards are for CDOs and senior Data leaders within any organisation)
To nominate please provide examples of the work and delivery that supports the nomination in no more than 500 words. The judges are all practicing data professionals, who understand the challenges faced by the CDO. The DataTalks awards will be the first time that the data community itself has recognised its stars, movers and shakers
The judges for the awards are the DataTalkers who you will heard from at the London DataTalks 2018
Awards will be presented from 16:00 on 9th November, concluding the DataTalks conference.
First Generation Chief Data Officer
The award for someone who has filled the role of the first senior data leader within an organisation or whose main focus has been the risk averse or data governance side of the CDO role. This award is for the person who can demonstrate tangible success in moving from governance to assurance, giving their business trust in the data; or have they heroically taken their organisation from data chaos through their first steps of data transformation.
Second Generation Chief Data Officer
The award for someone who has filled the role as the second or subsequent senior data leader within an organisation or whose focus has been the value and insight generation from data. Helping their organisation understand the true transformational power of data.
The Next Generation Chief Data Officer
The award for someone who is up and coming in the data profession and is a hot tip to be the next outstanding data leader. Which person is the next great data leader in the making? Who deserves the recognition and encouragement?
